Graphite Impregnation Materials
As is mentioned through out this site, Active Chemical Systems, Inc. can impregnate graphite blocks and tubes, with two different materials.
Those are Impreg-Tite and Teflon. Teflon is a more understood material, however to learn more about ACS, Inc.’s patented Impreg-Tite process.
Graphite Impregnation Process
As mentioned above ACS can impregnate graphite with two different types of components. You may ask:
What is “graphite impregnation” and how is the procedure perfomed?
By clicking on the file to the left, you can learn about our process.
The impregnation procedure and corrosion…
Helps graphite fit into a number of applications, by increasing its resistance to corrosion, thermal shock, and increasing its mechanical strength.
The file at the right is a corrosion chart that has been designed to give you an idea of the chemical resistance of our impregnated graphite.
We have chosen just a few of the more commonly used chemicals to help you in your heat exchanger selection. Please do not hesitate to contact us, to learn more.
